Vision, Mission & Values
We bring together nonprofits, grassroots groups, funders ecosystem partners, and sector leaders to strengthen digital capacity and support practical, community-rooted digital change. Our work prioritizes equitable access, with a focus on organizations facing the greatest barriers to inclusion.
For us, digital resilience means more than adopting tools. It’s about having the people, practices, and systems in place to use technology responsibly, protect community trust, and adapt as needs and risks evolve.
We’re guided by a clear vision for the sector: a future where nonprofits of all sizes have the confidence, skills, and support they need to thrive in a digital world, and where collaboration and trust are central to how technology strengthens missions and communities.
Our Strategic Direction
Nonprofits across Canada are navigating rapid digital change.
They are ready to adapt. What they often lack is coordinated support, clear pathways, and sustained investment to do so with confidence.
CCNDR’s 2026 to 2029 Strategic Plan exists to close that gap.
Our focus areas:
Reduce fragmentation across the digital ecosystem
Connect nonprofits to trusted guidance and practical learning
Centre the needs of small and equity denied organizations
Build digital confidence that lasts beyond any single tool or trend
At the heart of our strategy is a belief: When nonprofits are supported through coordinated, community informed approaches, they build the confidence and resilience needed to adapt over time.
Our Theory of Change connects the challenges nonprofits face with the actions required to create meaningful, long term impact.
It reflects how we work:
- Listening to the sector
- Co creating practical solutions
- Connecting partners and resources
- Sharing learning openly
The Evolution of CCNDR
Built Together
CCNDR began as a collective response to a growing challenge. Digital change was accelerating across Canada’s nonprofit sector, but coordinated support was not.
